Present Whereabouts: I live in the Capitol Hill neigborhood of Washington, D.C. and work for a nonprofit organization (or non-governmental organization) engaged in investigative journalism.

Immediate Family: wife, Louisa, also a Dunnett reader; and son Griffin, born 2003.

Brief Bio: Grew up near Charleston, S.C.; Lived in Massachusetts (Cambridge and Somerville) for twelve years; Entered law school in D.C. (American University's Washington College of Law) in 1991. In current job since 1999, editing, proofreading, fact-checking. My law practice consists primarily of occasional freedom of information lawsuits on behalf of my employer.

Dunnett: I read Niccolò Rising in 1998, after seeing a book review of Caprice and Rondo. I discovered the online Dunnett community at yahoo.com in 2002. I began constructing this Dunnett Wiki in June 2004 and moved it to wikia.com in July 2006.
